I am new to this whole blog thing  Im a 35 year old mother of 3 girls ages 15,14,11.  I have alot of health issues I swallowed LYE at 13 months old.  The LYE ate half my tongue my whole esophagus half my stomach paralyzed a vocal cord plus I have a whole lot of scar tissue on my bronchail tubes around my heart and lungs. I have recently had a feeding tube placed more than likely permenantly as i have had many problems swallowing. My esophagus was replaced with a piece of my colon and it has formed pockets those pockets collect things i swallow and develop infections in April or so they are going to try  and surgically remove those pockets I am not looking forward to that.  My girls are the reason i get out of bed everyday and i dont give up.  Nadene is mine by birth she is 15 Frankie is my niece she has ODD,RAD,and ADHD she has been with me since she was 12 TraciJo is also my niece she was born with FAE and has RAD and ADHD she has been with me since she was 5 months old shes now 11. All 3girls are mine in every since of the word.  I have a reaaly good job that im about to loose because of my health but i have to say they have been awesome and so understanding with me.  I'm about to loose everything cuz im not working i have been out on medical leave since the end of october but we have been thru it before it just gets harder as i get older.  Thankfully my girls and the man i love will stand by me and we will get thru this together
